Lisa is a managing director in the
Government Affairs Department.
The department monitors European
policy and legislative developments that
impact the firm's business; develops and
maintains relationships for the firm with
government officials; and acts as an internal
resource on European politics and policy.
Lisa's primary areas of policy expertise
include financial regulatory (capital markets,
corporate finance, prudential supervision,
corporate governance), European pension
reform (state and occupational pension
schemes), European and US competition
(merger control, state aid, sectoral
deregulation) and trade (WTO sectoral
negotiations and accession, bilateral
disputes).
She joined Goldman Sachs in
1992 and became a managing director in
2006.
Lisa holds a BA in Government from
Dartmouth College and studied law in the
United Kingdom.
